Membership is the practical way we express God bringing us together as Union Church; to be His family and to serve His kingdom purposes.
At Union Church, membership happens within the idea of “covenant”. What makes a covenant different from a simple binding agreement is that covenant implies a meaningful relationship. For example, God covenanted with Noah, with Abram, with the people of Israel at Mt. Sinai, and eventually brought about a new covenant, available to all through Christ. Through covenant, God continually called people back to the kind of life he intended for them.
Any follower of Christ that regularly attends Union Church is welcome to become a member. In becoming a member and covenanting together we make commitments to love one another, encourage one another in faith and serve Christ together.
We meet as members regularly throughout the year in Fellowship Meetings, to celebrate what God has been doing and to discern what he wants us to do in the future.
