I moved to Hunstanton from Leicester in about 1993 to enjoy life on the coast and joined Union soon after.
I have been part of various groups run by the Church and became Secretary in 2016.  I enjoy being involved in the life of Union and it has been exciting to see God growing our fellowship over the past few years both in numbers and in Christian lives.

We came to Union in 1986.  A year later I became church treasurer - a post I have held continuously since then combining it with a variety of administrative responsibilities.

My Bible and my prayer life are my foundation and I hold on to and trust in Paul's assurance that what God starts He sees through to completion.  At Union, I count it a privilege to be able to come alongside folk on their journey to faith in the Lord Jesus.
I joined Union Church around 2008 and was Baptized by full immersion on March 13th 2012.  I always considered myself a Christian but I dedicated myself fully to the Lord at this time.

As someone who cared about the elderly and lonely, I was drawn to pastoral care and joined the Carehome Ministry team very early on.  In March 2014, I was first elected as a Deacon with specific responsibility for coordinating pastoral care within the Church.

In March 2017 I became the leader of the Wednesday Morning Community Cafe.  Outside of Church I love living by the coast and spend many hours walking with my dogs enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife whilst keeping fit.  I feel so blessed and privileged to be part of such a caring, supportive and active Church and through my leadership roles I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to serve and contribute in some small way to our very special Community

After almost 40 years working with the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen my wife Dorothy and I retired to Heacham.  On joining the church in 1996 we commenced helping at the weekly Coffee Morning and Sale ultimately running it for 17 years.  I became a member of the Diaconate in the year 2000  and remain involved in many aspects of church life.
